The Alderwood Mall Adventure

Okay, so on Sunday I went with my cousin Megan and my aunt Pam and aunt Jo to the Alderwood Mall. We went to buy Christmas presents! I had so much fun! I got to buy six pairs or earrings!! Ruby, my sister, got to buy like four necklaces. We had Taco Time for lunch. Later in the day we went to get Italian Sodas. The ladies who were taking our orders asked us our names so they can write them on the cups, and next to us this dark man yells his name is Jafar! Then he spells it out too!! "My Name Is Jafar. . . J-A-F-A-R!!!"  We all stared at him then looked at each other and I was thinking he was scary/crazy!! Then my aunt Jo, aunt Pam, and I all sat down at this small table in the middle of the mall. Ruby and Megan (who is about twenty-five) were still at the Starbucks area getting straws. They come back and ask us "Did you see that lady?" We all look at them, puzzled. Apparently some lady came up to Ruby. Megan thought that she was going to get some parenting lecture about letting Ruby get a Mocha. Nope! She asks where Ruby got her tights!! And this lady was probably in her thirties!!

Honestly, I don't go to the mall very often. I probably haven't gone for about six months. But I don't think I've ever taken time to just look around and be happy I'm here. Which I was that day. I was grateful that my cousin paid for all of the stuff we bought and was just kind enough to take us. I think that was a pretty good, pretty great day!
